Excellent post, Zoe. It's true, you don't hear about it in the news anymore at all.
The media attention span is very short. Thank goodness for the internet, though it's also hard to know what to believe on alternative news sites.
I posted this article because NOAA was involved, so I'm thinking that the article is probably true.
I really feel for you, knowing that your family is out boating etc.
It's so hard watching loved ones come to harm. If they won't listen, at least you'll know you tried ...
My family, too, thinks I'm a bit "odd" and I've come to a belief that they're on the path they're meant to be on, as am I, and letting go instead of trying to control the situation is where I'm at.
