I think you're bang on dude. I think i'm in a very similar boat to you are and i'm just waiting till the end of the month to find out. I've had stomach/bowel problems for years and I would not be surprised if the liver has been affected too. I've just had a ultrasound scan done of the GI tract and surrounding organs and i may also have an endoscopy done of both the stomach and bowels in the near future too. All i know is that the EC and digestive issues developed at around about the same time - there has to be a link.

One thing I would like to know is how did you doctor confirm his diagnosis? Was it based on tests or scans? Tweet
