I posted my original post under Neurology, but nobody answered.
I have been using a CESta (CES) unit off and on for years for anxiety secondary to a nerve condition I have. I used it last Thursday at a pre-set 45 minuties at 100 hz. When I woke up I had a headache, a headache that I'm still dealing with five days later.
The only way to describe it is that is like my whole head is heavy. It almost feels like a congestion headache but all over my head, with the concentration in the front.
I don't know what to do and the only thing people are telling me is to drink more water. CES machines have been around for decades and I've never heard of this happening.
Should I attempt to use it again using a lower setting for a shorter time? Could the low of a signal have caused some kind of muscle constriction or inflammatory response. I'm at my wits end.
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
