Sounds like a plan. Good luck, try to keep positive and get creative with the whole foods you have available. Kiwis are delicious (and alkaline) but pricey here.
I'm still not sure what to do about eggs. They are listed as acidic on many charts, and someone who first recommended an anti-Candida diet to me strongly recommended not eating eggs at all at the beginning of my 6 month odyssey, her reasons were something like the whites feed Candida, and the yolks harm your immune system. Or was it the other way around? But eggs are a small source of Vitamin D, I believe. Everything in moderation I guess (which is to say, eggs every day might be too much).
