I'll jump in quickly if you don't mind. To break a fast, you should spend 1/2 the time you were on the fast carefully refeeding your system slowly. (If you fast for 3 days or more as that's about the time frame for your digestion to shut down.) This starts your digestion slowly. Plus if you eat quickly afterwards and your metabolism isn't back up to normal, you'll gain back more weight than you lost.
For example, if you do a 10 day MC, your post fast diet may look like this:
Day 1: Juice only (some folks start with water diluted OJ)
Day 2: Juice and broth, some light fruit and/or a veggie based soup (there are recipes here: search for Cauliflower soup to find my soup)
Day 3: Juice, broth, soup, fruit. Maybe some raw veggies
Day 4: All of the above. Veggies, salad, etc. All raw
Day 5: If desired, start with minimal whole grains, although the above diet is very clean and you can extend it
