Unfortunately we are not yet certain if Candida is the primary causative factor that leads us to develop EC. As mentioned previously, it could be an opportunistic 'infection', that is drawing unnecessary attention.

However, 1) CO2-lasering your lips will of course not clear Candida from your system, and/or 2) clear it from your lips long enough to revert the immune cells in your lips back to the 'naive'-inactivated state (in this state, immune cells to not give off proteins that stimulate growth of your skin cells). The same story goes for the lip-freezing.
