Calcified Liver stone show up on X-ray? My story

A few months after the birth of my first child, I went into the ER for a chest pain, and a CT scan showed a round 4.5 cm 'growth' on my liver. I went to a gastro-intestinal specialist, who said if it was 5 cm, he would have recommended surgery. No, thanks. I asked about alternatives and specifically if this kind of 'growth' ever shrank. Not that he knew, he replied. He didn't know of any alternative treatments that he would recommend, but I went ahead with my own exploration.

I went back after six months (Ultrasound only), and then a year (CT scan). At the year visit, I was told the 'growth' had shrunk by more than half. I joyfully stated "I've been using alternative methods to shrink it." From using vitamins and liver support greens, changing my eating habits, and a lymph cleanse. You bet I was doing the happy dance in my seat.

The RN replied, "Oh, that's nice, I don't believe in natural approaches." I thought 'Good thing I don't have to believe in something for it to work.'

But now that I've come across this site, I'm wondering if the 'growth' was a calcified liver stone, but if that was the case, then what about it shrinking instead of leaving?

Any thoughts on this?

PS--I've not stopped my searches into alternative methods. Since then, I've learned what it means to be gluten-intolerant, as well as sensitivities to egg, corn, (not sure about dairy, yet, but I'll bet that's one too) and certain foods that I eat regularly, like apples, pecans, zuccini, carrots. (I was told that was leaky gut.)

My DS who is nursing also shows sensitivities toward gluten, corn and peanut butter. So I'm hoping that my Liver Cleanses will clear up issues for him, too. Here's crossing my fingers.

I am willing to adapt more to the Blood Type Diet , of which I am AB+. My Hubby is O. So that means our kids could be both A or both B, or an A and a B!!. What a family meal, huh? :oS
