my personal experience is that my return to eating is less than noble if I only do a short fast, a few days in other words.
Longer fasts, 1, 2, 3 weeks and I am a lot more controlled when eating.
in fact, I often desire certain foods while fasting, maybe something I saw in a commercial. I think I'm going to try that when I'm off, but then when I break my fast, I have no desire for such foods, only more wholesome nutrition.
It seems that the longer I go, the more this is true.
