SENSITIVE gallbladder... what next?
I haven't had gb pain for about a year and a half, then about one month ago I started a liver support remedy (in preparation for getting pregnant). the pills have milk thistle, dandelion, and turmeric. I began to have green stools and gallbladder pain. So I discontinued them. I did a "spring cleanse" recommended by my naturopath, with a gentle, or minimal liver flush, (my first time ever doing either of those). My GB pain has mostly subsided now. BUt last night, I took just one more milk thistle, felt TONS of GB gurgling last night, and this AM I have GB pain again.
My question is this: Do I just have an incredibly sensitive gallbladder, and I should stay away from liver support-type herbs?
I had liver complications with my last pregnancy (bile stasis), and that is why I wanted to really cleanse and support my liver, but supporting it seems to piss it off. Should I continue with liver flushes? (my naturopath doens't think much of those), or should I try a different type of liver support herb?
Any suggestions?
