Re: Too Much, Too Fast...?
Greetings to you, 38155!
I believe that your pains are being caused by congestion. The high fat content of the oil forces the liver and gallbladder to contract, purging at least some of their unnatural contents in the process. The problem with the mini-flush is the lack of
Epsom Salts ; the salts are specifically used to dilate the bile ducts, which in turn eases the passing of the purged liver and gallbladder contents. Ingesting a relatively large quantity of oil without ensuring their ease of passage will result in increased congestion, especially within the proximity of the bile ducts themselves. This, clearly, will result in pain for the dislodged stones will clog the ducts rather than flow through them.
Your symptoms are all very familiar to me, unfortunately, and should they persist I would advise taking a single dose of
Epsom Salts not long after waking and forsaking the entire mini-flush regime, at the very least until you are feeling comfortable and confident.
I realise that the full
Liver Flush protocol is something of a nightmare, but it is two days of discomfort and then massive relief as opposed to numerous days of discomfort and little to no relief (and potentially a great deal more pain).
If I were you I would rest myself (especially my liver; diet being paramount of course) for a few weeks and prepare for a full liver flush. Perhaps after a few flushes you will be able to continue your mini-flush regime (should you wish to) as your liver and gallbladder congestion will not be nearly as bad.
