I'm still coming down from the effects of the drugs, so I'm gonna make this long story short.
Yesterday I decided to get checked out due to chronic constipation. While getting ready, I had extreme fatigue and passed out for a second. My baby's mama called 911 and they took me in again.
I told the doctor what's up and they did blood tests, blood cultures which are still being processed, CT scan with Iodine contrast.
They also gave me an IV with thiamine, folic acid, and multivitamin. They gave me droperidol, benadryl and ativan.
NEVER TAKE DROPERIDOL. THAT STUFF GAVE ME EXTREME AKATHISIA AND I BECAME SUICIDAL REALLY QUICKLY. I WANTED TO TEAR OFF THE LINES AND ALMOST RAN OUT THE ER. I WAS KICKING THE WALLS, ETC. NEVER AGAIN WILL I TAKE THAT BS DRUG, OR ANY OTHER ANTIDOPAMINERGIC ANTIEMETIC DRUG. IT WAS TERRIBLE AND I STILL FEEL THE RESTLESSNESS A LITTLE AND HAVE ANXIETY THAT IT'LL COME BACK. I HOPE I DIDN'T JACK UP MY BRAIN CHEMISTRY BY LETTING THAT DRUG COME INTO MY VEINS.
They gave me benadryl after that, which spiked my pulse to 140-160, and made me go into a near comatose state while hallucinating out of my mind. My body's adrenaline/anxiety response fought it off and I came back, while they gave me a 12-lead. Then they gave me ativan which calmed it all down somewhat. Today I'm having the come-down after effects. I JUST STRONGLY HOPE AND PRAY THAT THE AKATHISIA DOESN'T COME BACK AT ALL. I've already felt it mildly several times today, and I'm hallucinating a little, but hopefully my body is just adjusting and balancing itself while these poisons are processed.
Anyways, as I mentioned before, cultures still going through, so far they said they saw nothing on my CT scan, except bad constipation. No insulinomas, etc.
But, and I'm actually happy about this find because I'm getting closer to answers, my Rheumatoid factor test was POSITIVE. Which means I have an autoimmune disease in my body.
So they want me to go to a rheumatologist.
Makes a lot of sense, and I think it fits in with other things that I've suspected before and am now reconsidering as possibilities.
