I try to avoid probiotics that have FOS because their are probiotics without FOS. If you find a probiotic that absolultely works for you that has a litlle FOS in it then the FOS might be minimal concern. FOS might feed Candida to some degree, but 200mg might be very minimal. If the strains survive stomach acid then some of that FOS might feed the Friendly bacteria as well.
Im taking a renew life super critical colon care --80 billion per cap, enteric coated, human strain, guaranteed to expiry date. Product seems to be causing a pretty good detox reaction. Question is whether it will help past a week. I try to look for probiotics that are human strain, clinically proven to colonize, guranteed through the expiration date, survives stomach acid. Not easy to find a good probiotic that makes a difference. Probiotics will probably most effective when candida is down to a minimum, but if a probiotic can help with digestion/inflammation it might be worth a try. Most candida programs recommend probiotics when the candida is down to a minumum--that way they will be more effective. If the candida is too strong then the probiotics might be eliminated too fast and a antifungal/sf722 etcc... might be more effective.
