Cutler warns against a lot of stuff that real life people seem to have success with. I specifically remember several people here on CZ who couldn't take regular ALA and had good success with the R version.

I don't want to get into a whole debate about Cutler, but suffice it to say that I find him an alarmist at times and an egoist always.
