Grace, because you are new here, or don't have a long posting history, I really don't want to offend you with what I'm getting ready to say. I almost just skipped over this because I don't want you to think you are not welcome here. You certainly are. But at the same time, I don't feel right about not saying anything about this either, because we are in very scary, hard times, and people really need to hear truth and get away from false, harmful, doctrines. And I know there will be disagreements to what truth is, but I have to at least stand up for what I believe it is when I have the opportunity, and you of course, have that right also.
But as for me, I am totally opposed to the word-of-faith movement which is what Bill Johnson is a part of. I think this movement is very dangerous and damaging.
Agt19751 says that is what he got involved with and is now suffering horribly from getting involved with it. He now realizes it was error, but is still suffering the consequences.
Here is an article I found. It goes over some of the error of this movement. I didn't read the whole thing because I've got to run, so I don't totally endorse it yet. But look it over, and see what you think.
