Metametrix is not ELISA but a DNA test using PCR to amplify the 12 S ADN of some protozoan and worms.

You should see a doctor who can help you by ordering the test kit for you where you put in it some of you stools. You can get the kit from naturopathics by they charge you twice the real price. The real price are 150 dollars for parasites and 350 dollars for ( Bacteria, parasites and fungus).

You have to not take anything that will interfere with the tests two weeks before testing so you can have high accuracy rate.

If you don't have that money then stick to the old tests for Ova and parasites but ask your doctor to give you many kits because the shedding of the bugs change from day to day.

Regarding Flagyl, it's good when the infection is unknown because it has a wide range of action ( C.difficie, Giardia, Entamoeba, H.pylori,....)

Flagyl and S.bouardii is a good start.
