Progress Report
Hello everyone,
It's been ages since I've posted on here, probably well over a year or more. I wanted to give you an update, so that you will remain positive, KNOWING that you CAN overcome this adrenal sh*t.
The last time I posted, I think I shared that I was working full time, unheard of for many years. Since then, I have a new job, a wonderful one, far less stress, nice co-workers, and a short distance to work.
Those who don't recall my posts, I was rock bottom in adrenal exhaustion, I could barely put one foot in front of the other, horrible insomnia, couldn't work, couldn't think clearly, panic attacks,
Depression etc etc you know how it goes....
Here's what has continued to help me, and a few things that I have added.
Basically a primal diet, Weston Price for the most part. A great book that helped me is "The Primal Blueprint" it's simple to follow and a really fun read.
I eat plenty of butter, eggs, raw dairy, grassfed meats, and bacon. And of course lots of green veggies and low glycemic fruits. All organic if possible, if not possible, my doctor tells NOT to stress over it.
I am still taking Mil Adregen, BarleyGold, and Flax Hull Lignans, along with pregnenolone and Blue Ice Cod Liver Oil, (simply the best)minerals and magnesium. Since I've written before, I have added oxygenized water and I sleep on an earthing sheet.
I continue to take care of myself first and foremost, before anything or anyone else. This is NOT selfish, and everyone benefits when I feel better. This means time for meditation, massages, walks in nature, etc.
Every now and then if I overdo it, I back slide for a few days, but ONLY for a few days.
Just sharing what has help me. As you know, there are no magic bullets. This process took me about 5 years from rock bottom, although I have had adrenal issues since childhood.
I still see the same doctor, Dr. Andrew Neville, at the Clymer Healing Center in Quakertown, PA. His fees are extremely reasonable, and he also does phone consultations. I went from seeing him 2 twice a month in the beginning to about 2 times a year now. The website is

My goal (and my doctor's) is for me to eventually be off all or most supplements. In the meantime, I am grateful for every day feeling "normal."
