So eating a ton of VCO will not make me "soft, fat, and flubbery?" Sorry if this sounds naiive and a bit superficial, but I also don't want to become uncomfortable with my outside appearance (for I am already uncomfortable with how I feel with my insides! lol).
How does a person know what diet works best for them? How can u tell the difference between a die off reaction between candida reactions between food reactions ? They all have side effects of bloating, gas, cramps, bowel issues, acne, depression, etc! That's where I get confused. When I tried no grains, I got extremely depressed and my GI got SO bad, and I got really constipated (the higher fat seemed to stop me up. Could that be due to my gastroparesis?)...and I lost too much wt. However, if I do some brown rice products, I feel better (not as much bloating, better serotonin levels, etc). But is this counterproductive to eradicating the candida.... or is this how my body prefers to be nourished?
Is the high fat/VL-carb diet contradictory for those with gastroparesis, since fat tends to slow digestion?
