Re: Hypoglycemia and Liver/Gallbladder Flush

First off let me say that I am a beginner/intermediate liver consider the source here but I do have some thoughts.
I , personally, have changed my thinking on the "no fat" rule. It does not work for me. See my post below. Also, here is an answer I recieved on an earlier query.

Also, here is a gentle Liver Flush suggested by Christopher Hobbs, L.Ac. in "Natural Therapy for your Liver"

1) Mix any freshly squeezed citrus juice to make 1 cup. Always include lemon or lime.
2) add 1-2 cloves freshly squeezed garlic, & fresh ginger juice.
3) Mix in 1 tbsp. of oo., blend & drink.
4) Do not eat for 1 hr.
5) Do in morning, preferably after some stretching and breathing.

Follow with this tea:

Cleansing Polari-tea

1 part fennel seed. 1 part fenugreek seed. 1 part flax seed. 1/2 part burdock root. 1/4 part licorice root. 1 part peppermint. 1 part marshmallow root (optional)

Simmer 1rst 5 for 20 mins. then add peppermint and let steep for 20 mins. for extra soothing properties, add marshmallow to original tea blend.
This tea can be refrigerated and kept.
Hobbs suggests this flush at 10 days once each spring/fall equinox although it can be done at any time even back to back with 3 days off...
I have not tried this. I will probably use this as maintenance when I am done with the traditional flushing. It sounds much gentler.
Good Luck! :)
