Drinking vegetable juices causes diarrhoea?

I want to eat an alkalizing diet but it tends to give me diarrhoea because of all the fibre. Iíve always been fairly prone to diarrhoea if I eat a lot of vegetables and cut down refined carbohydrates. I donít view psyllium husks as a satisfactory solution for this permanent problem. I thought of getting a juicer to remove the fibre from some of the veg but Iíve read that vegetable juice speeds up the gut because it is so rich. Does anyone have experience that this is, or is not true?

I would welcome any insights or suggestions.
