I found the following article on Pubmed (PMID 18605528):
Dermatitis artefacta of the lip in an adolescent.

They describe some features typical to EC, and they report a referral of the patient to an adolescent phychiatrist. Maybe we can learn something from this? Anyone found other interesting scientific reports?
