Can candidiasis cause short breath + tight chest?

For several years now I've had shortness of breath and tightness in my chest, which isn't really exercise induced, it just comes and goes randomly. I often feel like I haven't been breathing all night, when I wake up. Alcohol is the only thing I've found that consistently calms it down.

I've been tested for anemia, heart disease, been x-rayed, and doctors have listened to my lungs. Everyone just says it's anxiety.

I am 99% sure I have candidiasis, due to numerous other symptoms. I've read that candida can sometimes get into the lungs and overgrow there. Has this happened to anyone, and was it cured by a candida cleanse? I hope this is the problem, but it seems that the candida would've shown up on the x-ray or doctors could at least hear a blockage when listening to my lungs?

Another possibility could be that the candida is in my esophagus and restricting my airflow. Any thoughts appreciated.
