Finally got my hands on some zinc(zinc gluconate 25mg) and have been taking 1000mcg moly-b with every meal for the last week or so
What are you guys using to up your zinc and lower your copper?
I have to wonder, about the copper dump from zinc, if that would happen anyway
Has anyone without copper tox been taking more than 50mgs zinc?
Do I need stomach acid to absorb zinc?
If I dont take HCL with meals I end up with IBS type symptoms, which would mean that I would need to take the zinc with meals since thats when my stomach acid is active due to the tablets
I know that stomach acid is required to absorb the zinc from food but maybe the pills are different
And maybe the zinc deficiency is whats causing the lack of stomach acid
Iv read that stomach acid must be released for bile to be excreted as well as pancreatic enzymes so perhaps this could lead to further accumulation of heavy metals(especially Cu) since less bile is excreted
