Caprylic acid affects the very structure of candida, and therefore candida CANNOT develop a resistance to it.
It might be possible for candida to "hibernate" whilst large doses of caprylic acid are ingested ... and to reappear once the caprylic acid is discontinued; but there are no studies which document that candida can develop a resistance to caprylic acid (unlike most other antifungals).
If anyone has evidence to the contrary, please advise.
