2.6% Slippery Elm bark is not enough, and the other ingredients (wheat and sugar) are best avoided.
A pure Slippery Elm bark powder is best, and will probably be cheaper too.
The Thompsons product is probably ok for elderly people that are not eating, and would not consider using the pure bark. It would provide them with some nutrition and energy at least.
Not recommended if fasting, it is considered a food. Are you having a laugh??
