Collagen softens the skin so it can probably help the lips feel softer. I have been thinking of having my lips cauterized like the guy who no longer has EC problem. He mentioned a few things he did like having some of his EC surgically removed, cauterizing his lips on a high setting, and applying nothing to his lips afterwards. The effects of burning skin with a laser or new collagen production can last up to 3 years. I would like to know if his lips go back to EC within 3 years to know if it was the lip cauterizing that helped the most. There are different lasers for wrinkles on skin, but the ones that go the deepest produce the most collagen. Tweet
