Hmmm, so you eliminated meat too, and seemed to benefit.
I've been reading more in depth on flushing and food combining from that Healing with Whole Foods book, which is largely vegan/vegetarian in nature. While it doesn't try to prove that meats or animal products are bad for us, their consumption should be in extremely small portions and only combined with non-starchy vegetables.
I am leaning this direction when I come off my Absorb Plus fast. I want to be able to eat ANY and ALL vegetables again, with good conscience, without fearing a flare up.
Thanks for the tip on malic acid --- I looked that up on a couple different sites, wisegeek finally convinced me I'll order some. Also checking into the Essiac tea.
I've been a bit of a snarky beast lately after giving up coffee, I treated myself to several expensive bottles of raw Kombucha that contain either ginger or spirulina/chlorella/algae mixes with the probiotic strains (I think it brags the coagulus stuff, a few billion, sorry bad spelling).
Just increased the dosage of ParaGONE to full amount (on day 5 currently) and I notice crazy rumblings in my stomach and bowel action (either needing to poop or pass gas) shortly after taking it.
Lots more undigested nuts passed last night. I threw the rest away.
