Yes I remember how getting back to eating meant so much less time. :-)
You might try the Mantak Chia method (others have used also)
of putting a drop or two lemon or lime juice in some distilled water, in an eyecup--one for each eye in the AM.
I remember my eyes got kind of awful, sticky and blurry toward the latter half of a fast, and it suggested I quit the fast too soon. As a result, I ended up using Dr. Christopher's recipe for eyewash for about a week, I think.
That fixed it.
My eyes continue to get better: clearer, stronger, bit by bit. I haven't done the lemon, but I'm going to start; it is just too simple a thing not to do--I want to keep getting better and younger. So far, it's working.
