Ive been having some grapefruit every day. Theres so much to look into for diabetes. Very complex and individual. For me avoiding acidosis was priority one. Now blood Sugar management is helping me. I'm looking at the low glycemic foods and fruits.....I need a proper test but wonder if candida throws it off. I bought my own srips and testing supplies before and saw nothing out of the normal ranges. I did pass out basically after a bunch of bananas and beet juice. I guess they are big no nos for people that need insulin. I am doing good with the germinated brown rice and am adding elliptical to my management...and walking around and not being sedentary after meals. Diabetics need to watch glycemic and for acidosis.
My theory is that candida is the hero during blood Sugar spikes, and the long term acidosis has kept this mess around even as I cut the sugars. I clearly passed out from loading up on beat juices, and the fat I had that day could have made insulin resistance. People should get high energy from having too much sugar, but diabetics will get fatigued and want to sleep.
