Onion & coconut extract combo eliminates tapeworm in rodents

I found this while doing research and thought it might be helpful, especially for those that think they might have a resistant infection.

A study tested extracts made from coconut, onion, garlic, fig, date tree, chicory, ananas, and cistrose in rodents.

The study found that administration of a combination of coconut extract and onion extract eliminated three different types of Tapeworm in rodents, and also the intestinal fluke E. caproni, but not liver fluke.

The study abstract can be found at the following link, although I do not have access to the full text.

Onion extract powder and capsules can be found on the web. Onion is toxic to dogs.

I do not believe that monolaurin or lauric acid count as coconut extract. And I have reason to believe it's not the active ingredient.

There are liquid extracts/tinctures of coconut, but some of these are imitation, so check the label. I doubt that coconut oil has enough constituents to be of benefit. It would be nice to be able to see the full text.
