This does help, as our condition seems to be somewhat similar (at least you 7 months ago), thanks a lot.
I've started to eat a as
healthy Diet as possible (but also I didn't eat that unhealth before I got it), but as said, the stress that comes with EC also contributed to me loosing a lot of weight in a short period of time. I now almost never eat processed food, trying to use only fresh (organic) ingredients. I don't really drink any alcohol anymore (about 1 beer every 1-2 months, maybe). I have already almost got rid of caffeine, now I'm just drinking one cup of green tea per day (compared to 3-5 cups of coffee before).
I do involve my wife a lot. She is the best help I have (I wouldn't know what to do withouth her :-)). In fact, she's a psychotherapist with university degree in psychology herself, but we're trying not to make me her patient.. ;) For that reason, I started seeing a psychotherapist just yesterday and I will probably be seeing him for ~25 hours over the next months. I will hopefully learn to not concentrate on the lips as much and also to use stress relieving exercises and stuff like that. Good thing here in Germany is, that we don't even have to pay for that. It's covered by our health care system.
About water on the lips: did you never actually wash your lips? I do try not to get any food on them, but at least once daily I fail doing so and some kind of soup or other stuff, or even toothpaste, touches them. What did you do about that?
How long did it take for you to notice any improvements?
