For those too lazy to go in and read it... It says that the condition of painful reoccurring ulcers on the legs was cured by two months of daily KI @ 300mg 3x's a day. It also notes that she did not respond to the "normal" treatment.

So this is two full months of 900mg of KI a day, this is a crazy high amount and no negative side effects were noted.

Add in some companions, (and medical supervision for liability sake ;)), and it seems this sort of regimen might be useful to try and cure any number of diseases.
