Did you get tested at another lab and got diagnosed with Giardia? What is the name of the lab and how much did it cost? Yes, there are good inexpensive labs outside the USA but to get to them you have to pay a $700 to $1000 plain ticket + hotels, travel expenses etc...

The mail order stool tests I know usually cost from 250 to 450 and they have been useless to me.

I was influenced by a comment similar to yours a couple of years ago and didn't go to Cahil... if I have gone to cahill back in 2009 I would have saved all of those years of life and a huge amount of money.

You may have been frustrated with Cahil but he gave me a diagnose that no other lab in USA I tried was able...

I think the $500 is worth just for the diagnose, however if you are in Brazil then $500 is a complete rip off since an expensive parasite test will cost close to $45!
