According to Dr. Peat, when there is not enough Sugar (glucose) in the body, certain processes start that are similar to stress response i.e. adrenaline, cortisol, etc increased in ordere to obtain glucose through glicogenesis(?).
According to Dr.Peat his lab rats fed with glucose were more resistant to stress. Sugar, therefore, could be cosidered as antistress.
I tried all this on myself + coffee. Feel great. It's been a month now. I wish i would find Dr.Peat works earlier.
