Everybody deals with die-off in different ways and you have complete control over how long it will last and how severe it is (by regulating the anti-fungals). Donna Gates likens it to climbing a mountain where everything you ever wanted is at the top, but how fast you get there is up to you.
Some prefer die-off to be quick no matter what the consequences, others take it more slowly over a longer period of time.
If you're finding the die-off so severe that it's hard to function, treat it like you would the flu - rest, drink lots (e.g. hot water with lemon or herbal teas) and keep warm.
Also some say that you can shorten die-off by using a home enema or colonic irrigation.
