I'm not on any kind of 'water pills' and I do use salt very liberally...on just about everything. I just don't care for it too much in my water. Sorry it does tast nasty to me then. These are new concepts, that salt does not cause you to retain water and that will take time to overcome.
I will take on your challenge, though! 1/2 tsp each day in warm water with 12-16oz of water to follow, right? Including all the salt I use on my food, which is a lot.
I stopped the Iodine for a few days as it has been recommended here, to see if it was causing the swelling. I had done nothing different before other than increasing the Iodine to 100mg a day two weeks before the swelling.
