Re: cavernous liver hemangioma

Thank you both for sharing your research and wisdom. I too was diagnosed with a cavernous hemangioma about 6 years ago and then felt as though I was left to die till a doctor finally got back to me a month later!
Surgery is aparently not an option for me because of where it is located (directly in the middle of the liver), not leaving enough good liver to leave a viable piece / lobe... Again it begs the question, is it or isn't it. OR is it the Canadian system?
I am certainly going to look in to the progestrone therapy. Sounds easy enough. My last scan also showed that it has grown slightly, is now aprox 9cm. My Doc seems to think I was born with it?
Anyway, You have given me some hope. Thanks again for sharing!
