Re: tell me about the salt...
I take in extra
Sea Salt either by shaking it into my meals or mixing in small amounts into each glass of water I drink. I don't recommend gulping down a whole spoon of salt. It'll shoot up your blood pressure too high. That will burn you inside plus it tastes nasty. It really helps bring down the adrenaline caused by dehydration if you have that problem. The adrenaline make you pee even more so it's a vicious cycle. It took me three weeks of salt therapy to normalize my fluids so that now I don't need to take salt anymore. I think I was simply dehydrated by the hot weather, not by an aldosterone problem.
"There are three types of dehydration: hypotonic or hyponatremic (primarily a loss of electrolytes, sodium in particular), hypertonic or hypernatremic (primarily a loss of water), and isotonic or isonatremic (equal loss of water and electrolytes)." The latter is the most common one.

I'm new to this hydrating business. I was told many times by doctors that my blood pressure is perfect. That low is better than high. But I felt awful with the chest pains and dizziness. Some people are more sensitive to drops in blood pressure, so raising their bp up by a few points dramatically makes them feel better. Some people's brains don't give signals of thirst.
Other benefits I got from normalizing my blood pressure is not having dry eyes anymore. I once considered getting plugs inserted into my tear ducts. Now I don't even need to use any eye drops. My contacts feel good. My face looks smoother. I guess it's like a raisin plumped back up to a grape. My complexion looks healthier.
