Thank you for replying, I think I understand what you are saying....so you have a wart virus (HPV) which has the look of normal skin, however it just builds up (EC). And then you have another virus (herpes-cold sore), which cause the wart virus to come back again (in addition to the medicine you were on affecting your immune system).

If I may ask, would the skin not near the cold sore still be affected as well after the treatment of zyclara or whatever it's called? Or does the cold sore affect the entire lip somehow, thus none of the lip was healed?
