Most all filters that get rid of fluoride are activated Alumina. I would not want aluminum in my water.
RO (Reverse Osmosis) can remove fluoride, but not as well as a distiller.
The Nimbus watermaker mini RO is the only one Dr Clark approved because it has no Lanthanides.
I have been using a countertop distiller for many years and love it.
However, do use one that has plastic chamber and/or plastic collection bottle.
Plastic can NEVER be sterilized and pathogens stay in the pores of the plastic.
