Re: SEB PICS: Detailed history, diagnosis and condition management
Protopic! Great, I have been trying for ages to remember the name of that drug as the oral pathologist in the UK has been asking which treatments I received in the US. Thanks for that. Just for your information and probably of no help whatsoever in your quest for some semblance of lip normality, my patch test indicated strong reactions to the following industrial standard fragrances and parabens:
Fragrances - (found in cosmetics, medicines, cleaning agents, washing powders/softeners, deoderants) - Mix 2 (E2860), Hydroxymethylpentylcyclohexenecarboxaldehyde (E2824), Citronellol, Citral, Farnesol, Lyral/Kovanol and Jasmine (E2935), Linalool, Benzyl Benzoate, Eugenol, Benzyl Salicylate, Benzyl Alcohol.
Parabens (
preservatives in pharmaceuticals/cosmetics/food such as lotions gels, creams, lipsticks, lipsalves, soaps, aftershave, depilatories, sunscreen, make-up, mayonnaise, sald dressings, spiced sauces, tinned fish products)- Dibromodicyanobutane (E2516) and salicylaldehyde and coumarin
Not so easy to remember much of the above names when searching through the shelves for products at the store!
Best of luck with everything.
