ihopethishelps!!!

iv been reading all of i hopethishelps posts. i find this interesting that his lips are coming good after longterm use of steriod cream protopic and continual moisturizing. He states that he tried steriod and cortico creams before but i dont think he did it for longterm. he also puts ec down to having to control the inflammation whihc i totally agree! now he states his ec was caused by a tooth paste whihc is possible but i pressume he would of changed to a natural tooth paste while doing the leave it alone theory. he says in his last post that he thinks changeing his tooth paste has a role in his healing but if this was the main reason wouldnt of his lips healed while avoiding it during the leave it alone theory? maybe its a combination?

anyways my main point is he said his lips havent peeled for 10 days so i pressume it took over 3 months of constent application of protopic and moisturizer. for me this is very promising because i havent ever use steriod base creams for longer then 6 weeks off memory.

and also he said ec started the exact same way as a few of us like me and vunk for example. were the top middle part of the top lip begins to peel and become whitish with contact of water and then eventually spread all over both lips. mine peeleed in the triangular part for a few weeks and then left and then after a few months ec just apperared over both my lips.

me personally i actually havent had my patch testing done its actually the one test i havent done thats why my physian is sending me to a speacialst allergist. so anyone thats ec started like this should closely watch for ihopethishelps progress! i think its pretty safe to say that our symptoms and the way ec started is to coincedental to say we dont have the same thing ( for people whos triangular part started peeling first) would you guys not agree?
