I treated it with the most aggressive inflammatory skin medicine possible. For a month and a half. So I definitely treated the inflammation.

And I have never really had really noticeable inflamed lips. The only time they were inflammed was when I ripped the crust off after leaving them alone for 2 months.

For me the best theory is a wound at this point. People on here like to say that it's impossible, but I had a highly qualified dermatologist tell me that it is possible, so as long as one trust worthy doctor says is possible, I think it is possible.

If this was some sort of inflammatory skin disease, it would be showing up on peoples test results. My derm who strongly believed this was an inflammatory skin disease like Psoriasis or lichen planus, now believes it must be a wound simply because based on my tests and treatment that seems to be the manly plausible hypothesis. And he was one of the people who didn't think that theory was plausible in the beginning.
