Hey I just remembered what a doctor told me would kill spores in your car and the air system... He said to turn the heater on as hot as it goes for about 15 minutes and the quick hot temperature change supposedly kills them.

Now I don't know for sure if that works, but it may be worth a try? It's also supposed to work for the air/heating system in the house, but again I don't know for sure...
