Not only that, there are doctors who will dispense them and not have any idea that it is a fluoride based antibiotic. I got into an argument with a doctor at an urgent care center. My husband went there and was diagnosed with pneumonia and came back with that cipro. I called and requested another Antibiotic that wasn't fluoride based. She told me that it didn't have fluoride in it. I told her that I'm looking at a molecular model of the drug right now and I can see the fluoride atom. *sigh* The next day he went to his regular doctor and got a different antibiotic.
