lol yeah I know, I try to avoid things that seem like they may have been cooked in the microwave! Or sometimes I ask. I try not to be rude.
A good trick is to take a very small portion, say 2-3 spears broccoli, eat 1 spear while the person is looking so they "see" you eating it, then leave several items on your plate (even if you like some) including the microwaved food, and dump it. Pretending you're not very hungry works well, too. If they look at your plate it looks like you're eating it, but hopefully you will only eat 1 bite or even none!
It stresses me out so I definitely can't enjoy anything if I know it's been zapped!
