Re: Ten years with no microwave

Well I mostly keep fruit and nuts around. I do buy other plant foods, and I suppose it would be convenient to keep them refrigerated so they would last longer, but it seems rather unnatural, so I'll just buy what I need that day, yeah. The real reason I stopped using it at first was the insane buzzing that most refrigerators make. Maybe that's weird, but I really cannot stand the sounds that they make and I can't even sleep with one in the next room, buzzing all night. So I figured I'd just unplug it, and now I don't even miss it. If I lived in a big house where the fridge was far away from my bed, I'd be more inclined to use it. And my electricity bill is only $5 per month!
