Yes my EC spreads into the inside of my lips where the skin is covered by saliva.

And yes I gently removed the Aquaphor in the morning, rinsed my lips gently and applied more.

Sounds like your EC is pretty similar to mine. And you seem to be doing everything that I did.

But I cant promise that even if you get to the point Im at, that we will be cured. I have stopped the peeling for about 2.5 months now but I still dont know how close I am. Although I am ecstatic that I have stopped the peeling, I am a little disappointed that I cant seem to get rid of this inflammation.

It seems to have gone down a bit since I started the steroid but not as much as I would like. I am going to make an appointment with one of the derms I saw early on. She actually told me to just use Vaseline and I brushed her off, but she is actually highly recommended so I would like to hear what she has to say now. Tweet
