The first few days, when I would swallow the garlic (what I did was chop it finely, let it sit for about five minutes, and then swallow it with as many mouthfuls of water as it took to down the whole lot) -- anyway, the first few days I would feel a very quick and strong nausea -- sometimes immediately. And a slight headache. After a few minutes it would diminish and eventually I'd feel back to normal or almost normal.
Was this die-off? I've never gone through a major candida kill before, so I don't know what the die-off experience is like. I was surprised how immediate it was, but considering that I believe I had an esophageal infestation, the garlicky water may have done some killing before it even reached my stomach.
Anyway, the nausea and headache did pass fairly soon -- within minutes, mostly. And after the first several days, the garlic didn't affect me as much -- the intensity of the reaction diminished a lot after the first several days or so.
I'm just curious if that would point to die-off, or if there might be some other reason. Anyone know? :)
