Are people just quitting meds cold turkey?

Sorry Paraboy, don't mean to overtake your thread, just thought I'd share my situation:) to help get some answers to your question.

I follow the protocol including 1/2 TSP salt. I take 50 MG of Lugol's per day but so far it isn't doing anything different to my labs. I take 62.5 and 75 MCG synthroid alternately. The TSH is higher (expected) but my T4 level is still the same. Not sure about T3.

How do we know when we have enough Iodine without bloodwork? Overall, I feel ok other than I'm still colder than mormal.
