Re: Probiotics and parasites. Wrong?

Hi onwards,
Many thanks for your feedback.

Re- this probiotics or not topics i still keep an open door :). Guess its depending on the type of probiotics (diary or not) and even strains and the time you are getting them during the cure. Many SIBO sufferers cant tolerate probiotics but acidophilus dairy free in the beginning. But for battling worms i do think its beneficial...

My opinion is that besides genuine lactose intolerance there are some pathogens (or even other causes) which can induce impairement of your ability to digest some foods like milk / casein....ie klebsiella and giardia just came to mind. And so this not properly digested foods could become food for them.

The same as you 1 year ago i wasnt able to tolerate 1 spoon of sauerkraut but after 3-4 rounds of antimicrobial i can have like 2 spoons / day. i guess as the GI cleanse, our ability to tolerate improves also.Still no dairy of any kind for me.

Ive also read anecdotical stories about "gluten intolerance" (some being diagnosed by tests dont know how accurate were they) being improved after solving GI infection and took enzymes to help digestion.
